By playing Captain Spurlin's Casino, you agree to these terms. The game is published by Spurlin Games, a trading name of Spurlin LLC, a Georgia limited liability company — "we" and "us" below mean Spurlin LLC.

The part that matters. The coins in this game are not money. They cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, transferred or exchanged for anything of value, and they have no worth outside the game. Nothing here is real-money gambling.

The game

Captain Spurlin's Casino is a free social game with simulated casino and arcade play. Coins are a scorekeeping device. We give them to you, we can adjust them, and they stop existing when your account does. No purchase is possible and no prize is offered.

Who may play

You must be 18 or older to play. The game is not directed at children. If the law where you live sets a higher age for simulated-gambling content, that age applies to you instead.

Your account

Sign-in is anonymous, which has a consequence worth understanding: an account is tied to your device and its stored credentials, not to a name or an email we can look you up by. If you lose the device, clear its data or uninstall, we may have no way to prove the account was yours, and the coins may be gone. Keep your player ID if it matters to you.

Fair play

You agree not to:

modify the game, or use bots, scripts or automation to play it;
interfere with our servers, or try to alter balances or results by any means other than playing;
sell, trade or buy accounts or coins, anywhere, in any form;
use the game where simulated gambling is unlawful.

Every result and every coin movement is decided and recorded on our servers, so this is enforceable rather than aspirational. We may suspend or delete an account that does these things, and balances obtained that way are forfeit.

Fairness

Rounds are generated from a server seed and a client seed. The hash of the server seed is published before you play and the seed itself is revealed when you rotate it, so you can confirm afterwards that a result was fixed before your bet rather than chosen after it. Machine payouts are set by published tables, not adjusted to your play.

Availability

We may change, suspend or retire the game, any machine or any game mode at any time. Some machines are deliberately unavailable when a feature they depend on is incomplete. We try not to lose anyone's balance, but we do not guarantee the service, its uptime or your coins.

No warranty, and limits

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Spurlin LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Since the game costs nothing and its coins are worth nothing, any liability is limited accordingly. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

A word on gambling

Success in this game is not an indicator of future success at real-money gambling. The odds here are ours to set, the stakes are imaginary, and neither carries over. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from them or from the game belongs in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and we each agree to that venue. If some part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
